This initiative aims to improve efficiency, sustainability, and resilience in the delivery of goods across businesses and consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe idea of the Physical Internet is similar to how digital data moves online,\u201d Prof. Foliente explains. \u201cIt\u2019s about sharing resources in the best possible way to deliver goods efficiently to their intended destination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By promoting shared infrastructure and standardized networks, Prof. Foliente envisions a logistics system that optimizes resources, reduces waste, and strengthens the country\u2019s capacity to recover from disruptions. His work contributes to creating the National Innovation Roadmap for Freight and Logistics, aligning with global goals to transform the industry by 2040.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Foliente is a DOST Balik Scientist and Enterprise Professor at the University of Melbourne, collaborating with DLSU\u2019s College of Computer Studies and the Enrique K.
