The Advanced Research Institute for Informatics, Computing, and Networking (AdRIC) was honored to host Dr. Dominic Kitavi, Jubilee Postdoctoral Fellow of De La Salle University, for a lecture held today, June 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Room 1903, Br. Andrew Gonzalez Hall.

Dr. Kitavi delivered an in-depth presentation on his mathematical modeling research focused on the transmission dynamics of Helicobacter pylori and its progression to stomach cancer. The lecture emphasized how treatment interventions and improvements in hygiene can significantly reduce disease spread, demonstrating the crucial role of mathematical models in shaping effective public health strategies.

We sincerely thank Dr. Kitavi for his valuable insights, and all participants for their engagement in this academic discussion.
