Center for Language Technologies (CeLT)

The Center for Language Technologies is the leading research lab in the Philippines dedicated to the computational study of human languages. Our lab is composed of faculty members and students who work in areas such as (but not limited to): storytelling, mental health, hate speech, election-related events, and disinformation. We also place a strong emphasis on advancing Natural Language Processing for Philippine languages due to (a) the lack of readily available tools/resources and (b) the complexities found in processing Philippine languages. Our research lab also collaborates with academic and industry partners across the Philippines and the ASEAN region.
