Dr. Neil Patrick Del Gallego, Associate Professor at the Department of Software Technology and Head of the AdRIC Game Lab, leads the project “Support for the PH Gaming Industry Towards Embracing In-House Game Engine Development.”
Supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD), the project aims to strengthen the local gaming ecosystem by developing and promoting the use of Philippine-made game engines, paving the way for greater self-sufficiency, creativity, and competitiveness in the industry.
The initiative was among the projects awarded during the recent MOA signing event held at the Sheraton Manila Hotel, attended by DLSU President Br. Bernard Oca FSC, Vice President for Research and Innovation Dr. Raymond Tan, and Gokongwei College of Engineering Dean Dr. Kathleen Aviso.
